TRACES.

Every action, decision and idea has a profound impact on the world around it. The work of those that preceeded us has given us the world we have today, built up one layer after another to an aggregate whole. The work we do today will have a lasting impact on that which comes after and our presence will be felt for all the generations that follow. The traces we leave behind form a foundation for what's to come.

The 2nd annual engineering art show at the University of Alberta, Traces, builds upon this theme: what lingering impacts do we have on the people we interact with, the environment we live in, and the world at large? As engineers, what marks do we leave behind our lives, both intentionally and unintentionally?
